Eros couldn’t hold back his laughter. “I’ll give you that one, but to further buttress my point on being resourceful. I have a surprise for you.”

“I’m not in the mood for that.”

“I thought you liked ice cream?” Eros raised his eyebrows at Aria.

“I do. What does that have to do with anything?”

“Check your fridge.” Eros offered her a small smile.

“What’s in there, Eros?” Aria sounded skeptical.

“Do you usually ask a lot of questions?” Eros chuckled. “Just do what I say.”

“Not until you tell me what’s in there,” Aria began, shaking her head and stamping her foot in defiance.

“I stocked your fridge with ice cream.”
