He didn’t need to think hard about why she was in this state. He knew about her toxic relationship with her boss, Asher Montgomery, and for the life of him, he didn’t know why she wouldn’t just quit. Maybe she was destined to stay there and let him work out his magic between them both, but that didn’t matter right now.

His focus was on being here for Aria until she felt better.
