Terrence’s POV

“You won’t follow her?”

My forehead creased as I turned to Tristan, annoyed. Why does he seem interested in my relationship with Emery? Is he interested in her?

“She’ll come back on her own,” I said, trying to comfort myself and figure out a reason why I feel bad for shouting at her.

I mean, I just want her to know that she’s too disrespectful with my family. She even shouted at my dad who always treats her right because of what? A guitar? She can just buy another one. Much more expensive than that antique one she has.

“Follow her, son. Don’t let her anger live inside her,” dad said which made me even more annoyed.

Emery’s a brat and she’s so full of pride. She doesn’t even want any help and I doubt if she’ll talk to me if I follow her.
