My heart felt like it was bleeding. I did not want to continue to explain but from the look of interest and intrigue in the eyes of the CEO, I could tell that he was not going to let me go until I had explained everything that he wanted to know. 

“So, we went to see my Dad before heading back here to get ready for the party. When we arrived, Josh got us some drinks to get us to relax because we were really tense. And then everything…it all just got really nice. We danced and were having the time of our lives before Nora left with a guy.”

“Do you know this guy? Would you be able to recognize him if you saw him in person, or got a picture of him?” The CEO asked. 

I racked my brain for the image of the guy and although it was a bit blurry in my mind, I could think I would be able to recognize him if I was to see him. “Well, I don’t know him, but I think I would be able to recognize him if I were to see him,” I told him the truth.
