Chapter 238. An Art Studio

“Why is so dark?” I asked, my survival instincts kicking in. I tried to make out my surroundings but it was just so dark. 

“Lights on,” Josh said in a clear voice and the lights came on, momentarily blinding me. 

I shielded my eyes as I cursed under my breath. Then when they adjusted, I opened them and looked around the room. It was…it was like an art gallery or exhibit. I don’t know what they called it, but it may be one of those things. 

But one word–beautiful. It was beautiful. I could not help it, my mouth dropped as I took in the true beauty of the room. There was artwork almost everywhere. There were some on the walls and there were some sculptures too. 

As I said, it was beautiful. 

“Wow,” I could not help but say. “It’s amazing. What is this place?” I looked back at him and he smiled. “I call it my art studio.” He chuckled, showing how proud he was of the place. “Do you like it?” 

I swallowed and looked away from him
