Chapter 59. Discharged

Lisa’s POV

I had now officially been discharged and was told to take it easy. They told me that the reason I had passed out was because my brain was too overwhelmed, that was its way of protecting itself.

They said that if I did not take it easy, I could be in risk of even going into a coma the next time or so.

Honestly, I’m my opinion, I felt like they were overreacting. Yeah, they knew their jobs and all that but I did not think that stress could land me in a coma.

They may have just been trying to make me scared so I could take it easy. So yeah, I did not quite believe them. Or maybe I just had trust issues, I don’t know.

They advised that I should wait for someone to pick me up but I decided against that. If Bradley wanted to be here, he would have been.

I also made sure that they kept my being in the hospital a secret from Mark and my father. I certainly did not want a pity shower right now.
