Chapter 66. Serenity
At that moment, I felt no stress. The heaviness was gone, the anxiety had fled; at that very moment, I was at peace and I loved the feeling.
But I knew that I would still have to turn off the water at a certain point, I could not remain here under it forever. And just as I had expected, it happened.
I turned off the water and grabbed a towel. It was on a heated rack and as I dried my skin, the comfortably hot towel made me moan in satisfaction.
When I was down with the bathroom, I walked out and into the room with the same towel wrapped around my body.
I had the urge to find something formal to wear as if I was going to go to work, it was just muscle memory at this point, but instead, I forced myself to find something casual.
Sweatpants, a large white tee and black socks were the fit for the day. I was not going anywher
