Chapter 70. Stop Stalking Me!

Was I hallucinating? Or was this real? It seemed real, it felt real, so I was going to take a wild guess and say that it was real.

My heart was thumping in my chest and my throat was dry. Tears threatened to escape my eyes and that was when I tried to get myself together.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m great,” I replied, my voice breaking. I forced a smile and was about to stand on my feet so I could find the nearest bathroom before something stopped me. 

It was a voice, the voice of someone important who was now walking on the stage. “Welcome to you all!!” He exclaimed and everyone cheered.

Josh looked concerned though and did not believe me. “Are you sure you’re okay?” He asked again, and even though his voice was drowned by the cheers and applause, I could still hear him.  

We were on our feet, clapping as a few people walked onto the stage. I flashed him a forced smile again and nodded. “Yeah, stop worrying.”
