Chapter 73. Trust Issues

I watched Josh carefully, to see if he was going to have the ‘I told you so’ look on his face but it never came. And that made me feel better for some reason.

“How do you feel about this revelation?” He asked me.

I shrugged, I didn’t really know. I was still trying to figure out how to feel about finding that out. “I don’t know,” I confessed.

He flashed me a smile and then pulled me closer with his right hand. He had it around my shoulders in no time as we walked. “It’s all going to fall into place,” He said it so confidently, as if he knew the future. 

Well, I hope he was right. 

The day went by I’m a blur and to be honest, I was tempted to just blankly go through the orientation and amazing events that were planned but Josh made sure that didn’t happen. 

When the day was over and it was five in the afternoon, it was now time to leave. Josh walked me to my car and before getting in, he did something that had me taken aback.
