Chapter 6
While Diana had her eyes shut in anticipation of death, she heard a shrill cry from the duo standing in front of her, and she couldn’t help but open her eyes to behold what made them cry the way they did.
Her kind neighbor had heard her cry a few minutes back and had rushed to see what it was. He met the men standing in front of her. “What would I do?” He had said to himself as he searched around for an object to attack them.
An iron rod sat in the corner of the stairs, and he grabbed it immediately and returned to the room, making absolutely no sound not to alert the men.
Before the men realized that he was behind them, they had passed out already with silent yelps being the last sound they made.
“Are you all right?” he inquired, running his hand through Diana’s face. He was worried, and no matter how hard he tried to hide it, he just couldn’t.
He had feelings for her and had asked her out, but their genotypes came in the way of them having a relations
