Chapter 28

“Are you one of the seven deadly sins?” Derrick asked as he clenched his fists tightly. The demon who hadn't revealed it self yet, cackled silently and replied, “I'm only a minion, but I promise I'm more than enough to take on a lowly life form such as yourself..” Derrick stepped back slowly, his eyes focused on the machine that hung from the ceiling. “If this Demon somehow replicated my entire house, then it has to be here somewhere…” Derrick thought to himself as a drop of sweat rolled down the right side of his head. 

Suddenly, the machine that hung from the ceiling began emitting thick black smoke in large amounts. The smoke fell to the ground like smooth sand, then rose up to take the shape of an insectoid demon. This demon had the upper body of a large muscular human, but its lower half was that of a black scorpion. Both its arms were scorpion claws, its eyes were black as night and it had no nose or ears.
