Chapter 11

The three teens set off to follow the unicorns down the dirt path. It looked like it had been ridden on quite often. The unicorns’ hoof prints were indented on the soft ground. The path stayed straight, barely curving at all in any direction, and Chloe periodically assured Ryan and Julie that they were still going in the right direction, according to the map.

After about an hour and a half of walking, they noticed that there were no longer any tall trees along the way. Instead, there were mostly bushes covered in the berries that the unicorns ate. Some of the unicorns stayed by the bushes grazing, but most of them seemed to be following the path to a specific destination. It looked like they knew where they were going.

“I wonder if they are going to the gr**sy meadow, too,” Julie said.

“I guess that would be convenient for us,” Chloe answered. “Then we know it won’t be hidden from us.”
