Chapter 10
We went to a restaurant, Honolulu Bistro, near the hotel I'm staying at, as it's convenient for me to go home after dinner. We arrived in a rental car.
We ordered grilled sandwiches and smoothies as we sat by the continuous tables near the glass windows. It gave a retro vibe with a diner setting. It felt cozy despite the small space of the place.
"So, you're on vacation as well?" he asks.
I nodded. "It's a chance I took before working."
"Ah, right. Congrats on the recent graduation." He smiled
"Thanks."
"So, what's your next plan?"
"Work in the city. At a public hospital." I answered. "What about you? When did you come here?"
"Only recently. I actually came for vacation and for business."
"What kind of business?"
"Just some sort of sealing deals with some establishments."
