Chapter 7

At home, I checked the boxes in place and settled our things with a company for moving and storage. I took Vince’s advice to clean this place up for rental. There may be a few possible tenants, but I can take a chance.

After sealing the agreement, I went to my room and lay there for a few minutes. As I turned my head to the side, a box labeled story books was placed on my table. I didn’t scroll through them because I hadn’t had the time earlier.

I got up and took one notebook out. This blue notebook, titled ‘Cursed in Snow: Grimhilde”, is a reimagined storyline for the protagonist in Snow White. It is a story or a novel I wrote in high school. This brought me to the past, where I dreamt of being a writer or a novelist. My chosen career pushed me to sacrifice this passion.

I read this handwritten hundred-page notebook the whole afternoon, making me cringe and smile the entire time. It made me realize how imaginative I was back then. I had a good youth from this.
