POV: Harmony Winters
Several times, I had dreamt that I was sitting with my hands cuffed in an interrogation room and being questioned about Christopher Sovanna’s murder. However, I always woke up relieved and thankful because all that I had seen was all a dream and I was safe, free and very much okay.
I had imagined that’s all it was ever going to be – just a dream. However, that recurring nightmare of mine had sneaked into my reality, and no matter how hard I tried to open my eyes and wake up from this situation I desperately hoped to be a dream, it couldn’t be possible. Like Joseph with the Coat of many colours in the Christian Bible, my dreams had come to pass and my heart ached badly anytime I opened my eyes to the reality.
The only difference between my reality and my dream was the fact that I was not handcuffed, as I hadn’t been arrested yet, but just brought in for questioning.
