Taylor’s POV

I sat at my desk, my eyes focused on the computer screen in front of me. I tried to concentrate on my work, immersing myself in the tasks at hand. But no matter how hard I tried, my mind kept drifting back to the image of Mavi with the girl at the restaurant.

Grant’s behavior and Mavi’s cryptic words had left me with a sense of unease. The fact that Mavi seemed to know the girl and that Grant had a troubled past with her. Who was she? What was her relationship with Mavi? And how did Grant fit into the picture?
