Chapter 69. A Confused Daniel

Daniel POV

I went to the bathroom to avoid Aria. I had nearly made love to her without her consent, which made me feel like a rogue. She responded afterwards, but I almost lost control.

I couldn’t believe the level of anger and jealousy. She provoked me by saying that it would have been someone else if not me when she was in heat. Without a second thought, I pinned her to the wall and made her mine to place my mark on her so those who had their eyes on her the previous night would forget their filthy thoughts.

I knew I could not mark her without her consent so I sucked her soft skin, leaving a hickey there. While I cleaned her, I admired my masterpiece. Yes, that would do for now.

“Being an ass is not you, Daniel. You could admit your feelings for the poor girl and end the conflict there. You continue to create misunderstandings between you and Aria, which won’t do us any good. You might end up losing her if you continue acting stupid,” Cole reprimande
