Daniel POV

I went looking for Aria but could not find her anywhere. She had put her walls up and I could not reach her through the mind-link. When I finally went to our bedroom, I noticed all the changes the decor team had made and smiled bitterly. Although I preferred grey walls, the room was transformed, special and perfect for a newlywed couple.

“It would have been if you didn’t mess up with Aria big time,” Cole reprimanded me again.

“I know what I did, Cole. You don’t have to remind me. How was I supposed to know that Lea was Erick’s niece? When my father found out, he didn’t even bother to tell me,” I protested.
