“You should meet the Directress of this place. Go inside, Chloe,” one of the women said, and I nodded.
Every step I took was risky, but I had to. The moment I pushed the door open, my heart almost skipped a beat but willed myself that I could do it. The sound of the door opening was scary but I had to be brave. When I had no one else by my side, I had to be a risk-taker and open-minded.
The air was thick with an eerie calm, broken only by the cracking of something like wood nearby. I stepped back as the creepy feeling got more distinct. Then shadows flickered on the walls and I panicked.
