Chapter 38

Both Alice and I were aghast at Alexander’s declaration that he missed me. I really didn’t expect it from him, and when he kept on pestering me, Alice screamed at him. Alexander was relentless until Alice threatened him to call his mother. Only then that Alexander gave up and left immediately without finishing the meal that Gretchen had served to him.

After breakfast, Alice asked me to go to the nearest pharmacy to get our supplies for first aid medicines. Since Jillian was still asleep, I didn’t refuse. Anyway, the said pharmacy was just around the corner.

But of course, before leaving the shelter, I took some precaution and wore a perfume with a strong scent. It would help a little to mask my original scent; to stop other werewolves from recognizing me.

Thanks to Alice, I was able to change my hair color. Skye didn’t like it first but I had no problem with my current locks whose color resembled of a famous drink; milktea. Well, it looked great on me though.
