Chapter 23. Going Out
Leah’s POV
My heart started to slow down to its normal pace as I peeled myself from the bed. I had an hour to get ready. That seemed like a lot of time, but in reality, it was not. Especially when I was already feeling this way.
What way was I feeling? I was starting to feel depressed and very anxious. I hated the feeling but there was nothing that I could do about it. At least this time, I knew what was causing me to feel this way.
When I was on my feet, I dragged the duvet to the floor and then proceeded to make the bed. After I was done, I headed to the bathroom and turned on the water. I looked at my reflection in the mirror after removing my clothes, and I could see that the injuries on my body were now healing very nicely.
