Chapter 30. The Middle of Nowhere

Leah’s POV

Was I scared? Well, let’s just say that I was not really paying attention and had been stuck in my head after we had almost died. 

So now seeing that this guy who had purposely driven us on the wrong lane while a truck was coming our way, had now driven brought us in the middle of nowhere obviously had me wanting to sh*t my pants. 

“Rafael, why are we here?”

“Stop asking me stupid questions,” he replied in a firm tone, showing that he was the one in charge. “Just get down from the car and do what I say.” He killed the engine and then removed his seatbelt before opening his side of the car and getting down.

I wanted to say something, but I had to remind myself that I was not the one to be doing so. I was nothing but a glorified prisoner.

So I kept my mouth shut as I removed my seatbelt and got down from the car using my side of the door. I stood next to the vehicle, as if it could save me if this guy decided to
