Chapter 27. My Nose and I

Leah’s POV

Red. 

Blood mixed with an amount of pain that made me wince. I decided to stop what I was doing immediately. Considering how my nose felt and looked, I don’t think I was supposed to be removing the bandage just yet. 

But I was already inside of the hole that I had dug for myself. So the best thing that I could do for myself would be to go to the doctor. I stood upright and rushed out of the bathroom. 

It was not like I was bleeding heavily or anything, but I was in pain and there was some blood. I don't want anything to happen. You know, maybe an infection or anything that could end up with me losing my nose. 

I closed the distance between me and the door and banged on it. “I need help,” I said, my heart pounding in my ears. “Please, I need help!” I raised my voice. 

The door was unlocked and a guard stood there. It was a lady and she was dressed in the same uniform as all the other guards who w
