Leah’s POV
My heels clicked on the tiles as I climbed the small set of stairs that led to the front porch. I could feel them, I could feel Sasha’s eyes on me. She was studying me, and even when I looked up and caught her staring, she still did not look away.
She took a sip of her wine and said under her breath, “So the b*tch can dress.” She turned and opened the door, walking in, leading the way.
I heard her, and I think that she knew that I heard her too, but I also knew that she did not care. I followed her into the house, and just like outside, everything was modern and minimal. But you could tell that almost every item in this place cost fortunes.
