Dominic’s POV

“Dominic, what do you think about the way Amsterdam’s distribution channels are headed?” Vincent, one of the London mafia lords, asked his eyes, glancing between me and Luca.

The atmosphere in the room was tense. It was wrapping itself around us, closing tighter with each word spoken. Luca sat on the other side of my desk, arms crossed over his chest and jaw locked. His silence spoke volumes. It was deafening.

I sucked in a deep breath and at last brought my attention back to the present. “Amsterdam has always been a solid hub for us. We had the potential to generate a huge profit there if we scaled up our network. Now we need to think of shifting resources from Rotterdam, where security has become quite tight, and moving them elsewhere to increase our operations.”
