Chapter 133. Braids
Same day, afternoon
PRECIOUS' POV
ALPHA NORTH HAS NEVER pegged Constellation to be violent but the tension in the car on the way home was so thick Precious could cut through it.
Constellation had demanded they leave Rivers compound and not wanting to leave Miki alone with an outraged Constellation, had cut the visit short.
It had been a gruelling task calming Constellation down and after a drink—or five—had made her promise not to strangle Miki when she said her goodbyes. The goodbye had been stiff and awkward. Constellation hadn't offered a hug and Miki hadn't asked for it.
No matter how many times Precious insisted he was fine with what Miki had done as long as it had been his decision and wasn't influenced by Blue Sun, Constellation hadn't been ready to accept or forgive.
Precious would be upset too if his brother had slept with Blue Sun. Especially if the act was a ploy to get under his skin.
