I was just making my way back to the hospital when I caught sight of Adeline and King Ezra walking through the pack like two lovebirds.

And, honestly, I liked it for them. All of it would only help make Theodore see that I hadn’t lied about Adeline having an affair with King Ezra.

That would get her out of my way faster than anything else. I had no business with King Ezra. All I wanted was my Theodore.
