I quickly pulled my hand away from Ezra’s, as if something had stung me.

My fingers tingled, I was so confused. I stared at him like I hadn’t really heard what he just said.

“I... I don’t understand, Ezra,” I said, blinking fast.

“Come with me, Kaida,” he said gently. “Come with me to Nightstalker’s pack.”
