“Your head is in the clouds,” Sienna said, and I watched her fold her arms tightly across her chest. “Are you even listening to me?” A frown sat upon her brow. “You know I don’t like being ignored.”
“Yeah,” I said, realizing I hadn’t been listening to a word Sienna had been saying. I was far too lost in worrying about Rufus after he had disappeared for the day. “I mean…no, not really,” I said with a sigh. “I’m sorry Sie, my head is elsewhere today it seems. There’s so much going on inside my head right now.”
“I thought so,” Sienna said, relaxing her stance somewhat. “Anything you want to talk about, Frey?” Her angered expression turned into something more inviting. “You know I don’t judge.”
