‘You left the house in a hurry,’ Elara said as she entered my thoughts ‘Any particular reason? Or are you just that desperate for a walk?’
I smirked at Elara’s words, she knew full well why I left the house with haste ‘Oh you know,’ I said with a pause ‘I felt like I may be interrupting something intimate between friends.’
‘Intimate?’ Elara asked with a giggle ‘You mean Jared and Sienna?’
‘You know that’s who I mean, Elara,’ I laughed ‘Quit acting coy, it doesn’t suit you. And I’m not that stupid.’
‘How are you feeling about the two of them now? I know you had your reservations,’ Elara asked with interest.
As I walked down the quiet street, I decided to walk into town today. The sun was shining so brightly, the heat felt energizing as I soaked it up. Being alone felt therapeutic, it had been a while since I had time to clear my head, and a walk was just what I needed. Fresh air to clear out the cobwebs.
