‘You left the house in a hurry,’ Elara said as she entered my thoughts ‘Any particular reason? Or are you just that desperate for a walk?’

I smirked at Elara’s words, she knew full well why I left the house with haste ‘Oh you know,’ I said with a pause ‘I felt like I may be interrupting something intimate between friends.’

As I walked down the quiet street, I decided to walk into town today. The sun was shining so brightly, the heat felt energizing as I soaked it up.
