Rufus’s POV

‘Who was Freya with?’ I asked myself, and I felt the presence of Silver enter my mind ‘Silver, she was with someone.’

Silver chuckled ‘You concern yourself with Freya’s antics,’ he paused ‘When you really should be considering taking Freya as our mate seriously before questioning her activity.’

I grunted ‘I know you’re right, I’m just confused with my feelings. Even though I haven’t given Freya my mark yet, she was given to me.’

‘By the Moon Goddess,’ Silver replied with a sigh ‘Who you think is useless?’

‘I didn’t say that,’ I said with disdain ‘I merely said that…’

‘I’m tired of being trapped inside your head.’ Silver groaned ‘It’s so painful and full of mixed emotions here. I would rather be imprisoned in the active mind of a hormonal teenage boy.’

‘What are you saying?’ I asked curiously.

‘I need to run, just for a little,’ Silver responded ‘To gather my own thoughts, your mind is taking its toll on me.’
