Rufus’s POV

‘I’m going to tell Sienna,’ I said to Silver ‘About Freya.’

‘What about Freya?’ Silver asked, his voice slightly panicked ‘That she is our fated mate?’

‘Yes,’ I said simply. I took my eyes to Sienna sitting in the passenger seat, her eyes on her phone as her fingers tapped away ‘I feel like now is the time.’

‘No Rufus!’ Silver said firmly ‘It isn’t the right time, you’re too emotional and Milo has turned up. Don’t do anything you will regret. Give it some time, the worst thing you can do is act on impulse.’

‘Perhaps you’re right,’ I said with a grunt. Silver was always much wiser than me ‘It’s a pretty bad time for anything now.’

“I thought your point of this trip was to take in the countryside and have a chat with your dear Dad,” I said to Sienna with a smile. “Who are you talking to?”

“Oh no one important,” Sienna said as she pushed her phone into her pocket. “This is nice though isn’t it, just you and me and the great o
