Chapter 16. I Accept You All

Suzie POV

My head throbbed as a wave of consciousness hit me. I groaned, my eyes slipping open slowly. I blinked a couple of times, as I was disorientated by the sight before me.

Asher, Blair, Roy and Felix, each of them surrounded me as I laid down on the bed. My memory was a bit foggy as I desperately tried to recall why, and how I was lying in bed, with the brothers, all around me.

And then, it hit.

I remembered Leah, and what she had done to me, how I had thought I would die in that storage room. Tears welled up in my eyes as I looked at each of the brothers. They all looked worried and rose up, closing in on me.

“What’s wrong? Are you hurt?” Asher asked, his hands caressing my cheek.

“Did you all save m-me?” I croaked.

“Yes,” Felix spoke up. “Leah revealed your location. I’m so glad we found you on time, you were barely breathing.”
