Chapter 17. A Wicked Father

Suzie POV

The resounding slap that landed on my cheek, did not register until I felt the burning pain. I held my cheeks, my eyes fixed on my father, who had his hand in the air.

“You fucking bitch,” He growled.

He swung his large and rough hands, landing a slap on my cheek again. I groaned, sinking to my feet. Tears pricked the corner of my eyes, but I refused to let my eyes water with tears.

I glared at my father. “Why did you take me back here?!” I yelled between gritted teeth.

My father scoffed. He grabbed a handful of my hair and pulled me up. I gasped, pain coursing through my scalp.

“You think you could be like your whore of a mother huh? You think you could leave me, by becoming a bitch for those Alphas right?”

“They’re my mates!” I roared.

“Bullshit!” he scoffed. “I know you just wanted a good reason to leave. I’m sure they happily accepted you after you opened your legs up for them, you fucking slut!”
