Chapter 18. You Belong To Us

Asher POV

“Can you explain to me, why on earth you are placing us in custody?” I asked, as I tried my best to control the tone of my voice.

“How could you let that animal take her away!” Blair growled.

I snapped my head to him. “Blair, can you just calm d-”

Before I could speak further, Blair whipped passed me and grabbed a hold of the officer I was speaking to in one swift motion. He slammed him against the wall, his hands on his neck and I could see the life draining from the officer’s eyes.

“Blair!” I yelled.

“Do not fucking tell me anything Asher! They brought that animal here and he took our mate! He dragged her away from us!”

I rose up, running up to him. I placed a hand on his shoulder and I could feel the rage radiating off him. I could tell he was going crazy over the scene we had witnessed, I was too. But seeing as I was the oldest, I needed to control myself and keep my brothers in check.
