Chapter 22. Final Goodbyes

~GABRIELLA'S POV~

“Wait, so he will be permanently unable to go into the mansion if he fails to go in before midnight?" I asked.

“Yes, that's why I have to get him back here every night before it's too late. He gets all stiff as soon as he is in front of the gate, so I just push him in.” Margret replied, skipping from side to side.

We were headed back to the mansion late at night when Margret called me forward to give me that little piece of information.

I walked back to meet Steven and stood beside him. Our palms met each other, and we both locked fingers.

“It's too bad we won't be able to see each other for a while; I was really hoping to spend more time with you,” Steven said.

I got a bit confused. I knew that Alpha Steven always found it hard to leave the mansion, but that didn't necessarily mean I and this side of him wouldn't be seeing each other again. I was pretty sure he'd leave the mansion again eventually.
