Chapter 66

Eliana’s POV

I woke up early in the morning, and the sunlight was softly coming into the room. Justin was still sleeping next to me, and he looked very peaceful. But when I touched his forehead, it was still warm from the fever.

I gently moved away from his hug and got out of bed. I knew today I had to look after him all day because he was sick. I didn’t mind at all; I wanted to take care of him, just like he always took care of me.

I quietly went to the kitchen to make breakfast, and before I started, I checked my phone. My morning class was canceled, which meant I could take care of Justin all day.

I cooked a simple but healthy breakfast because he needed strength to beat the fever. I made chicken soup and herbal tea. While I was in the kitchen, I looked at him from time to time. He seemed so fragile, a lot different from his usual lively self.

I brought breakfast to the bedroom and gently woke him up. “Hey, sleepyhead, time for some breakfast,
