Chapter 9. Feeble

“What brings you here?” As she noticed Dylan standing in front of the door, Penelope asked, her voice severe and startled. Dylan’s surprise visit to his child surprised her, but he was at the wrong place at the wrong moment because Lucas had arrived earlier and was currently playing with Elijah.

“Hey, Dylan, you appear to be visiting at an inconvenient moment. Lucas is here,” Penelope said, her mouth drying up.
