Chapter 123. Tell Me
Joan POV
Just as he’d ordered, the guy stopped at a restaurant and Aaron glanced at me.
“What are you having?” He asked, eyes searching my face. I frowned.
“I’m not hungry,” I insisted, because, well, that was the truth. I had no appetite to eat because there was alot happening around me that I had no idea about.
Aaron pinched his brows and muttered something under his breath, before climbing off the car.
“Stay here. I’ll be right back,” he said and slammed the door shut before walking into the restaurant.
I watched him disappear before perking up. The driver met my eyes through the head mirror.
I pressed my lips together.
“What’s going on? Why is he suddenly getting an entourage?” I asked and he raised a brow.
“I believe he already discussed that with you...”
“If he did, I won’t be asking,” I rolled my eyes. Men can be annoying at times.
