Chapter 116. Primal Nostalgia
Jeremy’s POV
I flicked on the brighter light, and that was when her gaze fell on my bare-stitched-reddish arm.
I heard her breath catch. “You took the bandage off?” she asked softly, walking closer.
“I was going to change it before you called in.” I replied, my eyes darting to the dressing aids for reference.
“You shouldn’t leave it open like that.” She said, her voice gentle.
She reached past me to the side table where the fresh dressing lay. “Sit.”
I huffed, “Tey, you don’t have to—”
“Sit, Jeremy.” Her command tone was almost hypnotic, compelling. I did as said, and sat on my bed.
She stepped between my knees, close enough that I could feel the heat of her legs brushing mine. My towel suddenly felt too small. Too dangerous.
Then she sat on the table beside the dressing, my parted knees housing hers. She seemed not to mind as she focused on my arm.
