Chapter 47. Mark Me

Maureen's POV

I was so shocked about what happened that I couldn't talk for several minutes. 

Both Dawn and Lucia continued looking at me in shock. Grandma Gina was the only one who seemed unaffected by the scene.

'You girls should shut your mouths before a fly enters your mouths,' Grandma Gina said with her smile not faltering a bit. 

Grandma Gina stood up and came to hug me. I shivered and she felt it. She pulled away from me to hold my face in her hands. 

'It is normal to feel weird at first but with constant practice and time you would get used to your powers,' she said looking at me with happiness.

'Powers?' I asked as Grandma Gina pulled me by the hand to sit on the chair. Carefully manoeuvering her way around the shards on the floor.

'Yes, powers. Your powers are limitless. Since the first Golden Wolf didn't live long enough for us to know the depth of his powers, I think it is safe to say nobody knows the extent of the power
