'Mum are you sure you are ready for this?' Dominus asked the Luna after she said I was free to mark Maureen.

'I am sure Dominus. I would do anything for my child,' she said to Dom. 

'I understand why you are charging into this head first and I appreciate it a lot' I said to the Luna.

'If you understand why I am doing this, does that mean you heard everything we were discussing just now?' The Luna asked.

'Yes. Not everything but I heard enough to make me realize that my delay in marking my mate was risky,' I said.

'I thought I caught your scent in the air but I thought I was just hallucinating because we were discussing you and Maureen.'
