Chapter 67. Must Try

Maureen's POV

I was missing Lance. It was barely four hours since he left but it felt like a whole year. They left around mid day and it was not yet three o'clock but it felt like he had been gone the whole day.

Lucia and I sat down, not saying much to each other. We both missed our mates.

'I didn't expect that there would be a day that my happiness would depend on the presence of someone else,' Lucia said sadly.

'Neither do I. But then the mate bond can be really though,' I said smiling sadly at her. 

A knock came at the door and I said an absent minded 'come in.' Dawn peeped in before coming in.

'The Luna said you both should meet her in the sitting room immediately,' Dawn said.

Lucia and I exchanged confused glances. What could the Luna possibly want? 

We quickly got up and headed for the sitting room in quick steps. When we got there, we met two pack doctors, a male and a female.
