Chapter 86. Looking Forward

Lance's POV

'Somebody should wake me up. Am I dreaming?' Alpha Asher said as we all sat in his study after Maureen had declared that Alpha Asher was a part of her mission.

Dawn covered the light projecting from Alpha Asher's torso with her hands when it became obvious that the light wasn't dulling off anytime soon. Maureen had slumped and I had to catch her before she got the ground.

'You are not dreaming Alpha Asher. She is the golden wolf,' Lucia said.

Maureen was still leaning against me as it seemed as if the experience had sapped her of her strength.

'You mean the golden wolf is a female?'Alpha Asher asked.

'You have a problem with that?' Maureen asked sitting straight.

'No. I don't have a problem with it. The thing is we had always thought the golden wolf would be a male. He was a male the last time going by the record,' Alpha Asher answered still looking surprised.

'I guess the golden wolf decided to choose the perfect sex.
