Chapter 87. Ready!

To say I was nervous would be an understatement. I woke up feeling nervous. I had a mate! It was such a novelty for me. 

I had hoped for a life that would involve other people while I roamed the forests and bushes of unclaimed lands. But at a point I had given up on that dream.

I had brushed my teeth and had my bath rather early. Despite the fact that I didn't sleep early, I still couldn't wake up late. I was looking forward to the discussion I was to have with Asher. 

I tied the bathrobe and wrapped my wet hair in a towel before stepping out of the bathroom. I had a major scare as the door to my room suddenly burst open. 

Maureen and Lucia walked in without the courtesy of knocking first. 

'What are you two doing here? It is rather too early,' I said looking at them in surprise.

'We know, right. We were thinking that just maybe we might find Alpha Asher here,' Lucia said sounding overly dramatic.
