'You seem in love with this friend of yours right?' Asher asked as I went to stand beside him at the window. 

'It is not what you think. I ...' I wanted to explain but Asher cut me off.

'I understand the fact that you didn't expect to find a mate, and I understand the fact that this person was there for you when no one was, so it is quite understandable if you fell in love with him,' Asher said without turning his face from the window.
