Chapter 72. War Plans

Atticus’s POV

The doctor is in my room examining Eryn, and I have been banished to the hallway. I am wearing holes in the carpet as I pace the floor, but I am not the only one waiting. Cassie and Jackson are waiting with me.

“How long can this possibly take?” I mumble to myself.

“She looked rough,” Cassie tells me. “There is no telling what she has been through.”

I’ve been trying not to think about what she has been through. I am afraid that if I do, I will march into the Twilight Pack and burn it to the ground.
