Chapter 79. No Desire. No Interest
Orion’s POV
The wedding day dawned, and to tell the truth, I did not feel the joy but rather, exhaustion and just wanting to get over it.
I sat at the bed’s edge, gazing at the suit which was neatly pressed and lying before me. It should have been a special day, but it seemed more of an obligation from which I had no way to escape.
Inside, I heard Grace snapping at the wedding planner.
“No, the decorations should be adjusted! The lighting needs to be soft. This looks dull!”
I sighed, running a hand down my face.
This had been going on for weeks. No matter what was done, Grace found something to complain about regarding it. Still, despite the efforts she had gone through to make this wedding perfect, it wasn’t going to be the grand production that she was going for.
It was a remarriage—private and simple, a few guests would witness it. Nothing close to the grand ceremony that she concocted in her mind.
