Olivia's POV
"I am serious! Give me back my key!" I spoke a little louder to make my point.
But he continued to grin stupidly at me. "Me too."
I screamed in frustration and glared at him before turning and running towards the door.
"You know you still need the key." He rattled it again and looked at me victoriously. But I wouldn't be me if I didn't have a solution to this problem.
"I know." I now said victoriously and searched under our doormat, then in the flower pot, in the mailbox, and finally on the lamp before I pulled out the spare key that my mother had hidden there. I turned to Mr. Perfect and now held the other key out to him confidently.
"Not bad." His grin faded a little, but he still came towards me with a smile. "But now that that's sorted out, you can invite me and we'll talk more inside."
