Chapter 10
Three weeks had gone by so fast as Layla stood in front of the mirror looking at her wedding dress. The dress was made with a silk chiffon fabric, which flowed down making her look like a duchess. The dress made by her and her team was so breathtaking that she nearly shed a tear but did not want to ruin her makeup. A rhinestone tiara was placed on her curly red hair to finish up the look.
“You look stunning,” Jane said as she hugged her friend.
The other women in the room cheered as they admired Layla.
Layla was still sad that she was getting married to Jack, but she had to do it for her child, so she smiled shyly as she walked out of the room.
The wedding hall was a stunning sight to behold, a vision of elegance with high ceilings adorned with elegant chandeliers that cast a soft golden glow on the gathered guests. Flower walls with white drapery to infuse natural beauty into the wedding. You could instantly tell that the decorations were made for the elite.
